Crazy cat people, it's time to unite because there's now an entire cat festival dedicated to our feline friends.

The LondonCats Cat Extravaganza is returning for its second year to delight animal lovers with a three-day festival in Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey from 10th to 12th January.

The cat event has been forced to move to a bigger space this year in order to cope with the huge demand from cat lovers as attendees gather for the chance to meet a whole host of felines.

Visitors will have plenty of opportunities to pet and cuddle these furry friends of all different breeds, such as Lykoi (werewolf cat), American Curl and Toyger.

The cats there will be hoping to win prizes for Best Kitten, Best Cat, Best Alter and Best Household Pet and visitors will be able to learn more about the kitties by observing one of the eight judging rings.

For those people whose cats cannot attend there is also a shopping village featuring tons of stalls where you can purchase various treats and gifts for your furball at home.

The event is associated with The International Cat Association (TICA) which sanctions hundreds of cat shows accross the globe.

The show will be open to the public from 4pm to 9pm on the Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday & Sunday.

Tickets, which are valid for the whole weekend, are available on the door or online, from the LondonCats website.

Online prices are £18 for adults, £10 for concessions, and under 12s go free.
