An Incredible Indiana Jones-Inspired Water Park Is Coming To The UK

What is planned to be the largest water park in the UK is already looking like it'll be a huge success, with excited fans describing it as 'something out of Indiana Jones'.
The world of water parks and theme parks has received a ton of exciting news recently.
Announcements of new Marvel themed Avengers attractions in both California and Paris' Disney parks have also been driving fans wild.
And it's easy to see why, as we've been told of the thrilling rides, diner-modelled 'Pym Test Kitchen' (using Ant Man's 'Pym Technologies' to create 'the latest innovations to grow and shrink food'), and reminders of the opportunity to meet all our faves like Thor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther etc.
Now, the focus lies on inventor Costa Acodrinesei and his dream-like Elysium Water-park, named after the Greek concept for the afterlife.
It all sounds very dreamy indeed, as a beautiful array of palm trees and tropical looking plants decorate the entire area, which is filled with swimming pools, rapids, rides, water slides, and a lagoon area with five different wave levels.
There's a whole host of luxurious facilities planned too including a sauna, hammam spas, massage and beauty treatments, exercise and dance options.
Adults will be able to explore their very own 'water-based spa' for some peace, quiet and relaxation away from the noise of kids enjoying the water-park - although we can actually imagine squeals of excitement coming from people of all ages, as a modern twist will combine elements of AR and VR technology to bring some of the rides to life, or a twisted version of life I guess...
Planning on making an extended stay out of your visit? Hotels and eco-lodges will be surrounding the area, along with multiple dining options to fill your hungry belly after all that swimming and excitement.
Set in Bournemouth, and expected to cover 75 acres of land across the New Forest and Poole, making it the biggest water-park in the U.K, pre-fans can't wait to try out all the amazing stuff it has on offer.
However, the park does still need to officially obtain planning permission, but once that's settled, we can start packing our swimming cossies for its scheduled opening in 2023.
