Legendary Mystic Baba Vanga Made Some Terrifying Predictions For 2023

As we move towards the end of another year, thoughts may be turning to what 2023 has in store for us… 

Well, if you need any inspiration in your musings for the coming year, it could be worth talking note of the predictions of infamous Bulgarian mystic, Baba Vanga.  

Although she died at the age of 84 back in 1996, Baba’s predictions still continue to make headlines to this day for her apparent soothsaying abilities. 

Baba rose to fame for - what many claim - are her many ‘accurate’  predictions of future events including 9/11 and the rise of Donald Trump, and when she passed away, she left predictions for every year up to 5079!

So, what does 2023 have in store? Well, if Baba’s prophecies are even close to the truth, it’s looking like another rough one. 

First up, as reported by Sky History, the mystic claimed that a solar storm with devastating consequences will hit the world in 2023.

The term solar storm can cover several phenomena on the sun’s surface including solar flares and plasma eruptions, both of which are capable of reaching Earth and causing widespread damage - especially to anything that runs off electricity - which is obviously pretty much anything nowadays… 

If this were to happen, it would likely cut communication services, causing widespread havoc across the globe, with experts warning that a severe event could cause enough damage that the subsequent  blackouts could last for years while infrastructure repairs took place. Yikes. 

Baba has also predicted that a change in Earth's orbit would come in 2023. Every year, the Earth travels around the sun in an elliptical orbit of around 584 million miles. 

The orbit can shift slightly due to the gravitational forces of other planets, although a shift of the magnitude Baba is predicting would be devastating for the planet, with soaring temperatures and radiation levels having dire environmental consequences. Again, let’s hope she’s got her dates mixed up on that one. 

Finally, Baba reported she had a vision of bioweapon tests being carried out in 2023, although she gave very little detail around this - which to be honest, could well be for the best.

Of course it’s worth noting that of the hundreds of predictions she has made, very few have actually come to fruition, with those that have widely disputed - let’s hope these ones are way off the mark too, we could all do with a break…
