If you’re feeling more and more like you need to scratch that PERi-PERi itch, this could be just the news you’ve been waiting for…

That’s right Nando’s lovers, not only are a number of restaurants beginning to re-open for dine in - some absolutely huge discounts are coming your way too!

After months of missing out on your favourites Nando’s will be cutting prices across its menu even further after already announcing price cuts last week.

Nando’s had already slashed prices in line with the recent reduction of VAT from 20% down to 5% for the hospitality sector, with customers making savings across eat-in services, delivery, and online click and collect.

However, there’s even better news as from August 3rd Nando's will be further cutting their prices by 50% on all food products

We spotted the discount on hotukdeals where the poster provided a few examples of exactly how cheap some of our faves are going to be when the deal hits.

The prices will be valid on the 3rd-5th, 10th-12th, 17th-19th & 24th-26th August, but remember they’ll be valid when eating in only!

So, you can treat yourself to a ¼ PERi-PERi Chicken for just £1.85, ¼ PERi-PERi Chicken + 2 Sides for £3.38 or Halloumi sticks and dip starter for £1.74.

However, don’t feel like your’e limited - the 50% applies across all food on the menu!

If Nando's isn't your thing don't forget that TOTUM members get 25% off at Domino's every time you order. No looking for codes or arguiing over which deal to get, just 25% off when you spend over £25!

If you do decide to head down to take advantage, there will be some new safety measures in place when you sit down for your chicken and fries, with social distancing and both customer and staff safety at the forefront of the plans.

A statement on the Nando's website reads: "We're reopening some of our restaurants for Eat-in from 8th July!

"There's only a small number to begin with, but stay tuned, we'll be adding more to the list from late July.

"To make sure it's as safe as possible for you to enjoy PERi-PERi with us, we've made some changes to our style in line with government guidelines and social distancing.”

So, what can customers expect to be different?

Well, first up, there’ll be no more queuing outside the restaurant. Instead you’ll have to scan a QR code that you'll be given on arrival and then Nando’s will text you when your table is ready.

Cash will also be a thing of the past with the chain only operating operating card and mobile payments to limit transmission of the virus - you’ll still be able to collect your Chilli Points using your Nando's Card though - a relief, I know.

Social distancing is going to be strictly enforced across every branch both in kitchens and across all the tables, meaning there will be fewer staff - and therefore customers - able to be there at any one time.

This also means you may not be able to eat your absolute fave as they’ll be operating a limited menu to ensure the kitchen staff can function with reduced teams.

And finally, you can expect to see sanitiser stations set up for you to use and there will be no more queuing at the till to order as staff will instead come to your table - fancy!

Enjoy responsibly everyone!
