M&M's Have Just Launched Chocolate Bars In The UK

Ben Smith July 7th

M&Ms have changed the chocolate game after announcing their plans to launch a new conventional bar of chocolate for the first time in their 77-year history. After decades of living independently, the small, rounded, tasty treats have joined forces to create a single bar of chocolate; taking over the hearts of chocoholics in the UK after launching in the USA and Australia last year.

They've already received rave reviews in the US and Australia and will be hitting the UK from 17th July with a full national rollout across other retailers and convenience stores from 17th August.

The new bars are available in four different varieties - Chocolate, Peanut, Crispy and Hazelnut - featuring mini M&M's in the flavours packed in a chunky chocolate bar.

Speaking about the new M&M bars, Cordelia Linacre, M&M’s Senior Brand Manager, said: "We've been inundated with requests to bring M&M's Bars to the UK - so we're extremely excited to announce that the wait is over. "We invite existing fans and all chocolate lovers to get stuck in." Unlike its other chocolate bar rivals, the M&M bars will be hard to miss as they will be displayed upright on the shelves - a little nod to their on screen mascots - and I for one cannot wait to try them!
