New Monopoly Has A Voice Controlled AI Banker To Stop People Cheating
We have all that one friend who's a total Monopoly fraud, sneakily stuffing their pockets with gold and yellow notes while everybody else is busy arguing.
The Monopoly Voice Activated Banking Game transforms the game's top hat wearing mascot into a voice assistant that takes care of your properties and finances.
Mr Monopoly communicates with the players through a devise shaped like his black hat, situated in the middle of the board. Players will have a virtual bank account instead of paper cash, so Rich Uncle Pennybags handles all transactions electronically.
Explaining the new game, Monopoly maker Hasbro said:
"The Monopoly voice banking game features lights and sounds, and comes with an interactive Mr. Monopoly banking unit.
The iconic Monopoly top hat is voice-activated and the personality of Mr. Monopoly really shines as handles all of the transactions.
He keeps tabs on players' money and properties so there's no cash or cards to think about. Talk to Mr. Monopoly and he responds."
The Monopoly Voice Activated Banking Game will be released in the US on July 1st, costing $30 (£24).
A UK release date is yet to be announced.
