Lip Readers Try To Decode Kylie Jenner & Timothée Chalamet's Conversation

The 2024 annual Golden Globe Award ceremony was hosted in California on Sunday and boy has it got people talking.

Reality star-turned-business-icon Kylie Jenner and award-winning actor Timothée Chalamet were captured engaging in an intimate display, locking eyes and sharing kisses while Kylie playfully teased Timothée’s necklace.

The new couple have been a hot topic ever since they surprised the public with the reveal of their romantic relationship back in September 2023 and their affectionate conversation at the Golden Globes has been driving the internet wild this week, with fans eager to learn more about the A-List stars’ relationship.

Fans have been desperately trying to figure out the words exchanged between the two, with the intimate moment caught on camera for millions to watch. Lip readers on TikTok have seized the opportunity to use their skills to help decipher exactly what the infatuated celebs were saying to each other.

In a viral TikTok video, @ninacelested - a self-acclaimed ‘lip reading girl’ who boasts 1.3 million followers - claims that Kylie says, “I might want to buy it too," referring to the 2013 Cartier Collection necklace that Timothée is wearing.

She continues whilst playing with the necklace: "'Cause it’s really nice, I want this one in black," with Timothée allegedly agreeing: "Yeah, I like it."

Nina claims that Timothée then declares his love for the makeup mogul, saying “I love you," to which Kylie replies “I love you too."

Nina then translates Timothée as jokingly say, “I wasn’t talking about you,” to which Kylie responds, “I wasn’t talking about you."

The pair share laughter before Nina claims that Kylie says playfully, “I was talking about someone else." They then kiss again.

Many fans commented on the TikTok thrilled for the happy couple, with one saying, “This is actually disgustingly sweet. I’m happy for her."

However, there has been some dispute over the translation of the conversation, with another TikTok video claiming that Timothée actually says "Thank you for coming out," to which Kylie responds “I only care about you. I wouldn’t miss something like this."
