In just the kind of news I needed to hear on a Friday - Cadbury Caramilk Twirl Bites are now on sale in B&M!

Released back in July, the new treat offers that creamy taste of Caramilk (which is basically a combination of Cadbury's white chocolate and caramel) coupled with the classic Twirl texture.

Spotted in B&M by our favourite foodies over at NewFoodsUK, the instagram snack aficionados wrote: “OMG! @bm_stores now sell Caramilk Twirl Bites! These are absolutely amazing and so worth £3! Thank you @bm_stores for bringing these to the UK!”

And as you can imagine, people were pretty excited to learn of the news. One person wrote: “We so need to go this weekend please!! Xxxxxxxxxxxxx.” Someone else said: “Shut up and take my money!,” while a third person added: “Go b&m before you come over please :).”

Back when these were first released, sadly not only were they not available at your local B&M they were barely available in the UK at all!

In fact, if you wanted to get your hands on some you had to visit GBgifts.co.uk, the sweet treat importer, so they could send them to your door all the way from Australia, where the lucky Aussies have enjoyed Caramilk for years!

So, this is really great news as not only does it mean at £2.99 a pack they’re substantially cheaper than having to order them online, it’s probably a bit better for the old environment than them travelling all the way from the other side of the world…

And while we’re on the subject of sweet treat news, burger joint Five Guys has just launched its own Lotus Biscoff milkshake mix-in!

Big news, we know.

Biscoff actually teased the launch earlier this week when it shared a photo of a blurred out drink, tantalising us all with the prospect of some Lotus Biscoff magic making its way to Five Guys.

Five Guys wrote: "Check it out!! The NEW @lotusbiscoffUK shake mix-in is here to spice up your life," the burger joint said.

Five Guys also posted a mouthwatering picture of the incredibly gooey looking thick Biscoff infused shake, decorated with a garnish of Biscoff biscuits that’s enough to get anyone salivating at the thought.

On the off chance that you’ve never experienced the delights of a Five Guys shake, basically you can combine mix-ins with their creamy, specially formulated vanilla shake to make a bespoke blend of your choice.

The flavours are complimentary, and include chocolate, fresh whole strawberries, coffee, double stuffed Oreos and even Apple wood smoked bacon, which is cooked and crumbled into the drink.

You can combine as many of the mix-ins as you like, so immediately I’m thinking some sort of Biscoff and chocolate concoction would be off the chain, but the beauty is you can design it just how you like!

The shakes cost £5.50, and the new Biscoff flavour is available to purchase from all Five Guys branches across the UK now.
